Privacy Policy

Updated October 14, 2026

This notice describes information collected through the Smog Stop Shop website and appointment request form.

Appointment requests

When you request an appointment, you provide your contact details, vehicle information, requested service, preferred appointment date or time, and any message you choose to include. Smog Stop Shop uses this information to respond to your request, discuss your vehicle’s needs, and coordinate service. Sending a request does not confirm an appointment.

Requests are processed through the website’s form service and delivered to our business email inbox. Our website, hosting, and email providers process information needed to operate these services. Please do not include payment card details, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information in the form.

Website tools and other services

The website and hosting services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, pages visited, and access times to provide and maintain the website. Your browser settings allow you to manage cookies.

The vehicle dropdowns request make and model information from the NHTSA vehicle database using the vehicle year and make you select. Manual entry is available when a vehicle is not listed.

Map features and links to Google, Facebook, and Instagram involve third-party services. Those services handle information according to their own privacy policies when you use them.

The Car of the Week page uses an Elfsight Instagram feed to display public vehicle features. Loading the feed involves requests to Elfsight and Instagram, which may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies.

Questions and information requests

To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or discuss an alternative to the online form, contact Smog Stop Shop at info@smogstopshop.com or 951-526-2408.
